We're tucked away in the Railway Colony at Kishan Ganj in Delhi. The address is 6/22, and it’s a bit of a unique spot since it’s so close to the tracks. You can hear the trains passing by all the time, which becomes a bit like background music after you’ve been here for a week or two. It’s an old part of Delhi, so the buildings have a lot of character, even if they aren't the most modern. Our space is basically a few rooms where we keep our tools and the parts we need. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a high-rise. We mostly deal with the logistics and repairs for this side of the city. The light in the morning is quite good, but by the afternoon we’re relying on the overhead tubes. We don't have any polished signs or fancy displays. Most people who come here are just looking to get their electronics sorted out without any fuss. We talk to the railway workers and the local residents quite a bit. It’s a bit of a maze to get through the colony if you’re not used to it, so we often have to give directions over the phone. We don't use any corporate jargon or talk about big goals. We just focus on the pile of work on the desk and try to get through it by the end of the shift.
