We’ve been tucked away here at J5 Lane 6 in Subhash Nagar for quite some time now. Most people just call us Electro because that’s what the sign says. It’s a small place, honestly. Sometimes the lane gets so crowded with bikes that it's hard to get through, but we manage. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of components and wires. If you walked in right now, you’d probably see a few of us hunched over a workbench with a soldering iron. We handle a lot of different things, mostly electronic parts that people need for their own projects or repairs. It isn't a fancy showroom. There’s dust on some of the older boxes and the lighting isn't the greatest, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of our day looking through catalogs or testing circuits to see why they aren't behaving. People come in looking for specific resistors or capacitors that they can't find elsewhere in the neighborhood. Sometimes we have what they need right away, and other times we have to dig through the back room. It’s a bit messy, I’ll admit that. There’s usually a radio playing in the background, mostly just for some noise while we work. We don't really do much in terms of fancy displays. It's just a practical shop where things get fixed or parts get sold. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still right here in the same spot.
