Richer International

If you have ever been to Loha Mandi in Naraina, you know it is a chaotic place. Richer International is right in the middle of all that at Office No. Z-46. It’s a small office, mostly filled with stacks of papers and maybe a few samples of the materials we deal with. The air outside is always thick with the smell of diesel from the trucks and the sound of iron being loaded or unloaded. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We are usually in casual clothes, just trying to keep track of the orders coming in. The office stays a bit cooler than the street, thank goodness. We have an old desk and a computer that has seen better days, but it gets the job done. Sometimes we walk over to the tea stall across the lane to get a break from the phones and the noise. It’s a very busy market, and you have to be alert or you’ll get bumped by someone carrying a heavy load. We’ve been at Z-46 for a while, and the neighbors are all in the same boat, just trying to move goods and keep their businesses running. There is no polish here, just a lot of hard work and the constant hum of the Mandi. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. The walls are plain, and the calendar on the wall is usually the only thing that changes.
