Reliable Footwear

We are set up at 119 Vivekananda Puri. If you’re looking for us, we’re not far from the Sarai Rohilla Police Station. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. The shop is pretty basic. We have shelves full of shoes and boots, and the smell of leather and rubber is pretty strong when you first walk in. We’ve been here a long time. People around the neighborhood stop by when they need something sturdy for their feet. We don't do the high-fashion stuff you see in the big malls. We focus on things that actually last when you’re walking on these streets. The building itself is older, and we’ve had to patch it up here and there over the years. It’s not a fancy showroom. We just have what we have on the racks. Sometimes we’re out of a specific size and have to wait for the next delivery to come in. That’s just how it goes with a small place. There’s usually a radio playing in the background while we work. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere, though we can get a bit grumpy if the weather is too hot and the fans aren't doing much. We just sell footwear and try to be straightforward with anyone who asks for a pair. It’s a simple business.
