Working out of Gadodia Market in Khari Baoli is an experience every single day. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets. Red Dot Foods Llp is up on the first floor at 50A. It’s an old building, like most things in this part of town. The stairs are steep and sometimes the hallways are blocked with sacks of stuff. We spend a lot of time just moving things around in the limited space we have. Khari Baoli is famous for food trade, so being here makes sense for what we do. It’s loud from morning until late at night. You can hear the carts rattling on the street below all the time. At Red Dot Foods Llp, we don’t really have any fancy furniture. Just some desks and a lot of paperwork. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but nobody really has time for that. It’s a functional space. We handle the food side of things and keep our heads down. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on inventory. It’s sweaty work in the summer months because the ventilation isn't great in these old market buildings. We like being in the middle of the action though. There’s a certain energy in Gadodia Market that you don't find in the newer parts of Delhi. We just keep doing our thing here at 50A and it works.
