You can find us at 632/5 on the second floor in Khari Baoli, which is right in the heart of Central Delhi. Being in Khari Baoli means we are surrounded by the history of the spice trade every single day. Purestar International Llp is tucked away on that second floor, away from some of the street noise but still very much part of the hustle. The stairs are old and worn down from years of use. Inside, the space is mostly dedicated to storage and sorting. We handle various products, and the air is always thick with the scent of different seasonings. It’s a small team here, and we all pitch in with the heavy lifting. The rooms are a bit cramped because we try to keep as much stock on hand as possible. We have an old desk where we handle the invoices and a small corner for our lunch breaks. The light isn't great, so we use several floor lamps to see what we are doing. It’s a very practical environment with no room for anything that isn't necessary for the work. We deal with the heat in the summer as best as we can. It’s just the reality of working in this part of Delhi. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure the crates are packed and the shipments are ready for the porters to take down. We have a heavy metal door that we lock up tight every evening before we head home through the crowded market streets.
