Personi Cosmetic

We are located over in Nehru Vihar, right near Timar Pur. It’s a very crowded spot but that’s just how North Delhi is these days. We’ve got two units here, D-13 and D-14, which we use for all the Personi Cosmetic stuff. It's a lot of work keeping up with the production schedule. We make all different kinds of cosmetics in these rooms. The floors usually have some powder or bits of packaging on them by the end of the day. We try to sweep it all up every evening before we lock up. I spend a lot of my time on the phone talking to different suppliers. Sometimes they are late with the raw materials, which is really frustrating when we have orders waiting. The staff here is mostly local people from around the neighborhood. We know each other's families and what's going on in the street. It makes the workday go by a bit faster when you're working with people you actually know. During the monsoon season, the street outside gets a bit flooded, so we have to be really careful with the cardboard boxes. We don't have any big corporate offices or fancy furniture. It’s just these two units and a lot of hard work every day. I usually just eat my lunch at my desk while looking at the order sheets for the next morning. There is always a lot to do. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the products are decent enough.
