Not Anywhere

Kaushik Enclave in Burari is where we’ve been for a while now. Gali 38 is a busy spot, mostly families and people going about their business. When we set up Not Anywhere at Hno 7, we weren't really sure how things would go. Delhi summers are tough in this part of town, and the dust from the road gets into everything if we don't keep the door shut. It’s just a small place, really. We spend most of our mornings just setting things up and saying hello to the neighbors. There is a lot of traffic nearby, but inside it stays okay. People ask about the name sometimes, and I just tell them it is what it is. We don't have a big fancy office with glass windows. It’s mostly just bricks, some old furniture, and a fan that makes too much noise. We handle everything right from here in B Block. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s just us working through the day. We try to keep things organized but sometimes papers get stacked up. We’ve lived in this area for years so we know most of the shopkeepers around Gali 38. It feels like home even when work gets a bit stressful. There isn’t much more to say. We are just here doing our thing every day. It’s not fancy, but it’s our way of making a living in this part of Delhi.
