Bedi Overseas Corporation

We’re tucked away in the back portion of the ground floor at D-1/4 in Model Town. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it, but we like it that way. Bedi Overseas Corporation has been here for a good while. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many samples and files taking up room, but we make it work. Working in Model Town is okay, though the narrow streets can be a pain when we have deliveries coming in or out. Most of our day is spent on the phone or tracking shipments on the computer. It’s not glamorous work. There’s a lot of double-checking numbers and making sure the labels are correct. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it’s dark outside and we’re still debating over a shipping route. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us who know how the business runs. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the paperwork. There’s always some new regulation or a change in fees that we have to read up on. It gets tiring sometimes, especially when a shipment gets stuck for no clear reason. But then we get it cleared and move on to the next one. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just do our jobs and try to keep things moving as smoothly as the situation allows.
