Metro Travel

Metro Travel is our little shop at 3176 Chuna Mandi. We are tucked away in Sangatrashan Gali. If you find yourself in that area, just look for Hotel Ashoka Castel because we are right opposite to it. It’s a very busy part of Paharganj. There’s always tourists and locals walking by, and the noise from the street is something you just get used to. The office is small and usually has a lot of travel brochures and papers scattered around. It’s not a polished travel agency like the ones you see in malls. We are more of a local spot. People come in to ask about train times or bus tickets. We’ve been in Sangatrashan Gali for a long time. It can be a bit chaotic outside, especially during the peak hours, but inside we just try to get things sorted for whoever walks in. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to help people get to where they are going. The walls are a bit faded and the furniture has seen better days, but it’s a functional space. We don't spend much on advertising. Most of our visitors are people who just happen to be staying at the hotels nearby or have heard of us from someone else. It’s a busy, messy, honest little travel shop. The phone rings a lot, which is mostly a good sign.
