Masala Scope Llp

Over in Karol Bagh, specifically at 5049 50/1 Sant Nagar, is where Masala Scope Llp is set up. It’s a busy part of town and we fit right in with the noise and the crowds. Our space is tucked away and filled with the smell of ground masalas. It sticks to your clothes by the end of the day. We spend most of our time packing things up and checking the inventory. The building is older, so the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. We’ve had to get used to carrying things up and down carefully. Inside, it’s mostly just work tables and storage bins. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some calendars and notes pinned up. Every morning we open the shutters and start the day’s tasks. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for all the spices we have, but we make it work. The street outside is always full of traffic, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a headache. We know the neighbors pretty well since we’ve been here for a while. It’s just a honest day's work for us. We keep the machines running and the bags moving. It’s not always perfectly clean because of the spice dust, but we sweep up as much as we can before heading home. There is an old clock on the wall that ticks too loud, but we don't mind it much anymore. We just keep our heads down.
