Laxmi Shastri

I’m located over at Central Secretariat, specifically at number 84. This is where I do my work as Laxmi Shastri. It’s a fairly quiet spot considering how busy the rest of the city can be. People come to see me for various reasons, usually looking for some guidance or just to talk through things. The room isn’t very large, just enough for a couple of chairs and a table where I keep my papers and books. I’ve been in this location for a while now, so many of the regulars know exactly where to find me. I don’t use any big signs or bright lights. Usually, the door is just slightly ajar during the day. The building is old but it has a certain character that I like. I usually arrive in the morning and stay until the evening light starts to fade. Sometimes people bring me tea from the stall around the corner. We sit and talk, and I try to help where I can. It’s not a complicated setup. I don’t have a website or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people hear about me. It’s a very personal way of doing things. I keep my books organized on a wooden shelf behind me. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. Sometimes the sounds of the street drift in, but mostly it's peaceful. I write everything down in longhand because I never got used to computers. It’s just easier that way for me.
