Kam Exports

We are based in Lajpat Nagar, which is a very lively area to be in. Our workspace isn't anything special to look at, just a regular unit where we handle all the exports that come through. The market is right nearby, so there is always a lot of noise from the shoppers and the cars looking for parking. We spend a lot of our time checking the boxes and making sure the labels are correct. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it has to be done. The office is usually a bit of a mess with tape dispensers, packing materials, and old newspapers lying around. We have a small staff and we all just pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it is answering the phone or hauling a crate to the curb. In the winter it gets a bit chilly inside because the door is always open for deliveries. We have an old kettle in the corner for making coffee when we need a break. We don't really have a lot of visitors, mostly just the delivery guys and the occasional neighbor stopping by to chat. It is a practical place and we don't spend money on fancy furniture or decorations. We just focus on getting the orders out on time so they don't pile up and take over the whole floor space.
