Sanal Exports is located right across from where the old Minerva Cinema used to be in Kashmere Gate. The address is 2687/1. If you know that area, you know it is always packed with people and rickshaws. It’s a noisy part of town, but it’s where we’ve been for a long time. Our office is in one of those older buildings that has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a bit of paint. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you’ll just walk in and see us working at our desks. We handle all kinds of export stuff from this small space. It gets pretty hectic when we have a lot of orders going out at once. We spend a lot of time on the phone with transporters and customs people. It’s just the way the business is. We don't really have a grand vision or anything. We just try to make sure we don't make mistakes with the shipping documents. Most of us have lived in Delhi our whole lives, so we’re used to the chaos of Kashmere Gate. We keep things simple and don't use a lot of big words. If the work gets done and the shipments move, we’re happy. It’s an honest job and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big deadline, but that’s just part of the routine here.
