Our office is in unit number 5 on the upper ground floor of the Inderprakash building, right at 21 Barakhamba Road. It’s a busy street, as anyone who works in this part of the city knows. We’ve been here for quite some time now, helping people figure out their travel plans. It’s mostly us sitting at our desks, looking at flight schedules and trying to find routes that actually make sense. The phones ring quite a bit, especially when there’s a holiday coming up. It can get a little frantic in here with everyone trying to book things at the last minute. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just some chairs and some brochures that are probably a bit out of date. It’s a small team, and we all know each other’s families and stuff. We don't pretend to be some giant global agency; we’re just a local office where you can come in and talk to a real person. Sometimes the booking systems go down and we have to wait around, which is frustrating for everyone, but that’s just how it goes. We try to be straightforward about the prices and the times. It's a lot of detail work, making sure names are spelled right and dates are correct. We like the area because it's central, even if the traffic is a nightmare most afternoons. We just keep at it, day in and day out, helping folks get where they need to go. We usually close up around seven.
