Jatain Auto Traders

Naiwala is the kind of place where you can’t hear yourself think half the time. At Jatain Auto Traders, we are located at 11/1116, which is a busy little corner of this area. The shop is mostly filled with boxes that stay piled up until someone needs something from the bottom. We have a small desk with a glass top that has a few cracks in it from years of use. There is always a smell of oil and old cardboard in the air, which you get used to after a week. Karol Bagh is full of places like ours, but we just stay focused on our own four walls. We spend our mornings checking what came in the night before and our evenings making sure the shutters are locked up tight. Sometimes the delivery guys get stuck in the narrow lanes and we have to wait around for them. It’s not a shiny showroom or anything like that. The walls are a dull grey and we have an old radio that mostly just plays static. We don't worry too much about the decor as long as we can find the parts we are looking for. It is a bit messy and crowded, but that is just the way business happens in Naiwala. We just keep the routine going day after day without making much of a fuss.
