Jain Child Clinic

Our clinic is over at number 16 in Old Rajendra Nagar, right in the middle of the Karol Bagh area. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how packed the streets can get with students, shoppers, and traffic. The clinic is in an older building that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a little narrow and the hallway is a bit dark. We’ve been here for quite some time, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot around us. Inside, it’s a typical child clinic. We have some colorful stickers on the walls to try and make the kids feel less nervous, but some of them have been peeled off over the years. The waiting room is often full of parents chatting and children running around. It can get pretty loud, but that’s just part of the job. We have a big wooden desk that’s covered in ledgers and pens because we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way. Karol Bagh is always buzzing, and you can hear the sounds of the market and the cars even when the windows are shut. We don’t have any fancy bells or whistles here; it’s just a practical space for seeing patients. Most people find us through word of mouth from other parents in Rajendra Nagar. We just open up every morning, see the kids, and do our best to keep things moving.
