Jai Kishan & Brothers

We have been at Shop No 3370 for a long time now. It is inside GMGR House in Hauz Qazi. You know how Chandni Chowk gets, it is always loud and crowded with people moving carts and shouting. Our spot is near Mathura Road. My brother and I come in early to open up the shutters every single morning. The shop is filled with things we have collected over the years. Sometimes the fans don't work right and it gets very hot in the summer months. We mostly talk to people who have been coming to this specific lane for decades. It is not a fancy place at all. There is a lot of dust from the street and the walls could probably use some fresh paint, but it is where we work. We sit on the old wooden chairs and handle the accounts by hand mostly. Every day is the same really, just selling what people need for their daily projects. The tea man comes around at eleven and that is honestly the best part of the morning. We don't have a big staff, just us and a couple of boys to help with the heavy lifting when things arrive. The address is easy to find if you know the area, right there in the middle of everything. We spend more time here than at home so the shop feels like our actual house. Sometimes we stay late when the orders are many, watching the sun go down over the old buildings.
