Our place is at 84 on the ground floor of Block B in the DDA Flats over in Jahangirpuri. It’s a pretty standard ground-floor unit. We handle surgical supplies, so the rooms are mostly full of white boxes and plastic packaging. It isn't a retail store where people walk in off the street all the time; it’s more of a hub for us to manage our stock. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because things can get a bit dusty with all the cardboard moving around. There is a small park nearby where some of us go for a quick walk during lunch, though usually, we just eat at our desks. The neighbors in the other flats are mostly families, so it feels like a residential area even though we are working. We have a small sign on the door so people know it’s us. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the right block, so we end up standing outside to wave them down. It’s just the way it goes here. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just a few of us making sure the surgical items are packed right and sent out to the hospitals or clinics that ordered them. It’s honest work and keeps us on our feet throughout the day. We don't need much more than that to stay busy.
