Jagjit Sons has been around for a long time at No. 3507/ 6 in Reghar Pura. It’s right in the middle of Karol Bagh, which is one of the busiest places you could choose to be. The shop isn't a modern showroom. It’s an old-school place with wooden counters and shelves that go all the way up. We’ve got a lot of history in these walls. The street outside is narrow and always filled with people, carts, and rickshaws. It can be a real struggle just to get to the door some days. Inside, we have a small group of people working. Some of them have been with the family for decades. We don't really have a hierarchy; we all just do what needs doing, whether it’s helping a customer or moving heavy boxes. The morning starts with opening up the metal shutters and sweeping the front. We get a lot of regulars who have been coming to us for years. We don't do any big advertising or have a social media person. Our reputation is just based on being here every day and doing what we do. It’s a bit noisy and dusty, and the tea guy comes by every hour. That’s just the life of a business in Karol Bagh. We wouldn't really know how to operate any other way. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night.
