Direction

Our office is in Karol Bagh, at 14A/103. If you know the area, you know it’s crowded and there’s always something going on in the streets. Direction is tucked away in one of those older buildings that has a lot of character, or at least that’s what I call the peeling paint. It’s a small space, mostly just a couple of desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We’ve been here for a long time, and the floorboards creak when you walk over to the window. You can see the market from up here, which is always full of people. We handle a lot of paperwork and planning for folks who need a bit of help with their own projects. It’s quiet inside compared to the street, which is a relief. I usually bring my own lunch and eat at the desk while looking over the schedule. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small nameplate. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve lived in Karol Bagh as long as we have. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. It’s a simple, honest place to work. We don’t have any fancy technology, just what we need to get the job done right. It’s a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we make it work with an extra chair or two.
