Being in Connaught Place means we are right in the middle of everything that happens in Delhi. Our office is in the Kailash Building on Kasturba Gandhi Marg. It is on the 1205 level, quite close to Janpath. The building is one of those older high-rises that you see all over CP. We spend our days looking at computer screens and talking to people about their travel plans. It is a lot of coordination with airlines and hotels and checking dates. The office is usually cluttered with brochures, maps, and old printouts. You can hear the elevators going up and down all day long. Janpath is just a short walk away, so there is always a lot of energy and noise outside. We do not have a massive team, just a few of us working together at our desks. It gets a bit hectic during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to go away at the same time. We do not use scripts when we talk to people on the phone. We just tell them what is available and try to sort out the tickets. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing for hours. It is a typical Delhi office life. We get our tea from the vendor downstairs every afternoon. It is not a polished corporate environment. We just have our desks and our files. Being in CP makes it easy for clients to drop by, though parking is always a nightmare.
