Designation

Our place is H. No-Ii/27 in the Hydel Colony in Rishikesh. It’s a bit different from being in a big city like Delhi or Hyderabad. Up here in the Dehradun district, things feel a little slower. The air is definitely better. We are based in this colony which was originally for the power department workers, so it’s a planned area with a bit of space between buildings. Designation operates out of this simple house. We have enough room for our equipment and a couple of desks. The pin code is 246428. In the winter, it gets quite cold, so we all wear heavy sweaters and drink a lot of ginger tea. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a bunch of marketing posters on the walls. It’s just us doing our work. Most people find us through word of mouth or by looking for the colony gates. We like the quiet here. It helps us focus on what we are doing without too many distractions. Sometimes we see monkeys on the roof, which is just part of living in Rishikesh. We don't try to sound bigger than we are. We are just a small team working out of a quiet colony. We handle our tasks, keep the place tidy, and enjoy the mountain views when we step outside for a break. It's a good way to live and work.
