Om Overseas

We are over at Building No. 8 on the 2nd Floor of the commercial complex in Derawal Nagar. It’s a standard office building with several other businesses around us. We deal with overseas work, so our hours can be a bit strange sometimes. The lift in the building is often broken, so we get plenty of exercise walking up to the second floor. Inside, the office is just one big room with partitions that we put up ourselves. There are rows of filing cabinets filled with years of records. We spend most of the day checking logistics and making sure the overseas shipments aren't stuck in some warehouse. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we have a good rhythm going. Derawal Nagar is a decent area with some nice places to eat nearby, which is the best part of the day. The office gets a bit dusty because of the construction work nearby, so we are always wiping down the desks. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a script. You just get one of us, and we talk to you like a normal person. It’s a practical workspace for people who just want to get their jobs done and go home to their families. We don't worry much about how the place looks as long as the work is getting finished on time.
