Maa Tara Surgical

Maa Tara Surgical is located at C-7/24 on Gali No. 7 in Dayal Pur. It is a narrow street and it can be a real struggle to get a vehicle through there sometimes, especially when the neighbors have their scooters parked outside. Our place is simple and functional, without any extra decorations or fancy furniture. We have shelves lining the walls filled with all sorts of surgical items. The work day usually starts with sweeping the floor and checking the messages that came in overnight. It gets pretty hot in the gali during the summer months, so we keep the fans going full speed all day long. We spend most of our time packing items and writing out labels by hand or on a basic printer. It is a very local kind of operation where we know the people living next door and they know what we do. We don’t have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to counting the stock. There is always a layer of dust that seems to find its way inside no matter how much we clean, but that is just part of being in this neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and get the surgical supplies sorted out for whoever needs them. It is honest work and we stay pretty busy from morning until we lock the gate at night.
