You can find Competent Chains & Forgings over at 1314/13 in Ajmeri Gate, specifically in Gali Hiralal Kundewalan. If you know Old Delhi, you know how these streets are. They are narrow and always full of people, carts, and rickshaws. We’ve been working out of this spot for quite some time now. Our main focus is on chains and various forged items. It’s heavy work and the shop can get quite warm, especially in the summer months. We don't have much room for anything other than our supplies and the tools we use for the forging. Every day is about moving metal and making sure the sizes are what they need to be. It’s a traditional kind of business, passed down or learned through years of just doing it. We don’t go for modern office furniture or air conditioning in the workspace. It’s about the raw material and what we can turn it into. The Gali is loud and busy from sunrise to sunset, which keeps us on our toes. We have a small team, and everyone knows exactly what their job is. It isn't a place for people who mind getting their hands dirty. We just provide what people order and make sure it gets to them through the narrow lanes of Ajmeri Gate. It is a tough location for logistics, but we have our ways of getting things moved out when we need to.
