Chino Laxsons India Ltd is in the Deepshikha Building, at 2048 Rajendra Place. If you have ever been to Rajendra Place, you know it is a real hub for business and it’s always crowded with people. Our building is right in the middle of all that action. It’s an older high-rise, and sometimes waiting for the lifts takes much longer than you would like, especially during the morning rush when everyone is arriving. Once you get up to our floor, it is a different feel. We have our desks set up and we just get on with our daily tasks. The windows look out over the other office blocks and you can see the metro line nearby. It is a very functional space. We don’t bother with fancy decorations or anything like that. We just have our equipment and our files and we spend the day working through what needs to be done. Lunchtime is usually a bit of a rush because there are so many food stalls and small places to eat around the building. Most of us just grab something quick and bring it back up to the office. It’s a loud and busy part of the city to be in, which definitely keeps things from getting boring. Even though the building is quite old, it’s a solid place for us to work. We are just one of many offices in this big complex, trying to keep things organized and moving.
