Our office is on the second floor of the MCD building right on D B Gupta Road in Paharganj. It is a hectic place to be, to be honest with you. If you know Paharganj at all, you know how the streets are always full of people, vendors, and rickshaws at all hours. We spend most of the day on the phones or handling a mountain of documents that keep piling up. Being in the MCD building means there is always something happening downstairs or in the hallways. The old fans hum all day long. It is not a quiet corporate setup with glass walls or fancy carpets. It is more of a place where people are constantly moving around and shouting to be heard over the traffic. We take care of the logistics and whatever else comes through our door. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of a task and we just have to wait it out. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, but you get used to them after a few weeks. We have been operating from this specific spot for a good while. Dealing with the massive crowd outside is just part of the daily job for us. It is a central location, which helps our work, even if the traffic is a massive headache every evening. We just try to get the tasks done and head home.
