Arora Travelline

You can find us at Shop No 1 on Panchkuian Road. We are quite close to the Delhi Heart and Lungs Institute, so it’s a landmark people use to find our door. Arora Travelline is a small shop where we help people figure out their trips. It’s mostly just us sitting behind the counter, looking at schedules and trying to find a seat on a train or a bus that isn't already full. The walls have a few old posters of places people like to go, but they’re a bit faded now. Panchkuian Road is always busy with people and traffic, so there’s a lot of energy right outside the window. We get all sorts of people walking in, from families planning a holiday to workers needing to get back to their village. We don't use any fancy booking software that does everything for us; we still do a lot of it by hand or over the phone. It’s more personal that way, even if it takes a bit longer. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just have to wait it out with the customer. We’ve been in this shop for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. But the way people travel stays mostly the same—they just want to get where they are going without too much trouble. We just try to help them do that from our little corner here. It's simple work but we enjoy the talk.
