Our shop is at 4367/4 on Ansari Road in Darya Ganj. If you know Delhi, you know Darya Ganj is a place with a lot of history and even more traffic. We are right in the thick of it. The building is older, like most of them around here, but it has a lot of character. We deal with all sorts of electrical and electronic components at Applied Electricals & Electronics. Most days, the counters are covered with small parts, circuit boards, and wires. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but it’s our maze. The noise from Ansari Road is constant—horns, people talking, and the general bustle of the market. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. This is a small operation, really. It’s just us doing the repairs and selling the parts that keep other machines running. We don't have a big staff or a fancy website. Usually, people just walk in because they heard we might have the specific fuse or transistor they need. The lighting in the shop could be better, and the shelves are a bit crooked, but they hold the stock just fine. We spend our time testing connections and making sure everything that leaves the shop actually works. It’s a simple life in a busy part of the city. We open up early, drink our chai, and see what the day brings us. It's a lot of work, but we like the pace of Darya Ganj. We just keep things moving.
