Our office is way up on the 6th floor of the Upasna Building. That’s at H-6 Kasturba Gandhi Marg, right near Haley Road. It’s a pretty central spot, which is nice for getting around, though the traffic on KG Marg can be a real headache some days. We work on communications stuff, so there’s always talk about fiber optics and network speeds around the office. Being on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy looking at spreadsheets or technical specs to notice it much. The building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character, even if the elevators are a bit slow sometimes. We aren't a big, flashy corporation with a lobby full of trophies. We just have our desks, our equipment, and a lot of coffee to keep us going through the afternoon slump. Most of the people here have been in the comms industry for a long time, so we don't need a lot of direction. We just know what needs to be done to keep the data moving. It’s a professional enough environment, but we still keep it casual among ourselves. There’s no dress code really, just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of troubleshooting. It’s a solid place to work, and we’re right in the heart of things, which makes the commute worth it.
