You can find us over at Manohar Mansion, number 153/6, right in the Ajmeri Gate area. Friendco Rope & Cords Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for quite some time. The building has that old Delhi feel to it, and it gets pretty crowded around here during the peak hours. We deal mostly with ropes and various types of cords. Our rooms are usually stacked with rolls of different materials, which can make the place feel a bit tight sometimes. We spend most of our mornings organizing shipments and talking to people who need specific types of binding materials. It’s honest work, even if it gets a bit dusty with all the hemp and synthetic fibers moving around. Ajmeri Gate is a noisy place, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the traffic and the markets nearby. We don't have any big corporate setup; it’s just us doing our jobs every day. Some of the machines we use for measuring out the lengths have been with us for years. We try to keep things simple and just make sure the orders are right before they go out. Most of our day is spent handling physical stock. It's not a fancy life, but ropes are something people always need, so we stay fairly occupied. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but our little corner in Manohar Mansion stays pretty much the same.
