We spend our days dealing with clothes and customers. It’s a small space, so we have to be smart about how we stack things. There’s always music playing from somewhere and the sound of people bargaining outside. We don't have a big corporate team. It's mostly just us making sure the racks are full and the customers find what they need. We aren't trying to be a fancy boutique. We just sell decent clothes at fair prices. Some days the shop is so full of boxes we can hardly move. We’ve been in Wea Smile Chamber for a bit, and we know the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a community. We drink tea together when things are slow. The building isn't the newest, and the elevator can be a bit temperamental, but it’s where we work. We focus on the everyday stuff. Making sure the stock is fresh and the shop is open on time. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we like the energy of the market. It’s not a perfect job, but it’s ours, and we’re glad to be a part of the Karol Bagh buzz.
