Vatsalya International School

Our school is located in Khambhat, specifically on the Katakpur Nagra Road in the Anand district. It’s a bit away from the main city buzz, which is nice. We have a fair amount of space out here. The school building is a regular sight for people traveling along the Nagra road. We have students coming in from various parts of the district. Some come by bus, others by private vans. It’s a typical school day here, starting early and ending in the afternoon. We have a bit of a playground where the kids play cricket or run around when the weather isn’t too hot. The classrooms are basic but they have what we need to teach. We have a small office where we handle all the paperwork and meet with parents. Khambhat is a place with a lot of history, but our school is just a modern addition to the community. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place for children to learn their lessons. The teachers are local folks who care about the town. We don’t have any big corporate backing, just a local school trying to do right by the families in Anand. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the lunch bell rings. We’ve got some trees planted out front that are starting to grow nicely. We hope they provide some good shade in a few years. It's a long wait, but we're patient.
