Karnataka Spices Private Limited is based out of Mallur Road in Byadgi, right near the famous market area. If you know Byadgi, you know it’s all about the chilies and the spices. We’ve been involved in this trade for a long time, working right in the heart of where everything happens. Our days are mostly spent around the market, dealing with the local produce that comes in from the farms. It’s a dusty, busy place, especially when it’s peak season for spice trading. We handle the sourcing and the moving of spices to different places. It’s not an easy job; there’s a lot of physical work and a lot of checking for quality. We’ve got a team that knows exactly what to look for when the bags arrive. Our office on Mallur Road is where we handle the paperwork, but most of the real work happens on the ground. We’ve seen the market grow and change, but the core of what we do stays the same. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks; we just know our spices and we know the people we work with.
