D. L. Logistics

D. L. Logistics is located out at Narja More, near the Bhatar police station area. We are right by the Krishna Tissue Paper Mill in Purba Burdwan. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but it’s a good spot for logistics. We have trucks coming and going at all hours. The road can get pretty muddy when it rains, which is a bit of a pain for the drivers. We have a small office where we track the shipments and talk to the guys on the road. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Being near the tissue mill means there’s always some activity around. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s a working yard with a basic office. The fans run all day to keep the heat down. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the routes. Purba Burdwan is a large district, so we cover a lot of ground from here. We aren't a massive corporation with a huge fleet, but we keep our trucks running and the goods moving. It’s a hard job sometimes, especially when a vehicle breaks down in the middle of nowhere. But we’ve been doing this for a while and we know the roads around here. We just stay focused on getting the loads delivered. It’s a simple business but it keeps us very busy.
