Viprama Industries

Our place is at A-30 in the M.I.D.C. Dasarkhed area. It’s deep in the Buldana district. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s all sheds and warehouses around here. Viprama Industries is one of the smaller units on this block. We have a few machines that run most of the day. The sound of the metal and the hum of the engines is something you get used to after a week. It’s not a quiet place to work. We mostly handle small parts and manufacturing stuff that goes into bigger machines. There’s about five of us who handle the production. We take our breaks together near the front gate. The tea guy comes by at eleven, and that’s the highlight of the morning. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist. If someone comes by, they usually just walk into the shop floor and find one of us. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the dimensions are what they’re supposed to be. It’s practical work. Nothing fancy about it. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now. The floor is stained with oil, and the walls could use some paint, but the machines work fine, and that is what matters for us. We just keep our heads down and get the job done before the power cuts happen. It's just a regular small shop trying to do things correctly every single shift.
