Our company, Khamgaon Janta, is situated in the Juna File area of Khamgaon. We use House Number 341 in Shivaji Nagar as our main point of contact. It’s a busy enough part of town. We are a farmer producer group, so we spend most of our time dealing with the agricultural needs of people around Khamgaon. We don’t have a polished storefront or anything like that. It’s just a house where we do the business. We focus on the practical side of farming—seeds, tools, and where to sell the harvest. Most of us grew up here, so we know the people and we know the land. We aren’t interested in fancy talk or making ourselves look bigger than we are. We are just a local operation trying to make things a little easier for the farmers in Shivaji Nagar and the surrounding areas. Sometimes the office is a bit messy with paperwork and samples of crops, but that’s how a real business looks. We don’t have any slick advertisements. People come to us because they know us personally. We sit down, have a talk, and figure out the best way to move forward for the season. It’s simple work but it takes a lot of time and effort to get it right. We just take it one day at a time and do what needs to be done.
