Sadguru Computers

We’ve been based in Akurdi for a long time now, running Sadguru Computers. It’s a neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else. Our shop is where we handle all sorts of tech issues, from broken screens to slow laptops that just won't behave. It’s usually a bit of a mess with wires, dismantled keyboards, and parts scattered across the workbenches. We don’t see the point in having a super clean showroom because most of our work happens with a screwdriver in hand. People from around Akurdi drop off their computers on their way to work and hope we can fix them by the evening. Sometimes we can, sometimes we need to wait for a part to arrive from the city. We aren't some big chain store; it’s just a couple of us who actually enjoy figuring out why a machine isn't turning on. We keep a pot of tea going and listen to the radio while we work. The space is small, but it fits what we need. We’ve seen computers change a lot since we first opened, but the basic problems usually stay the same. We just tell people honestly if something is worth fixing or if it’s time to get a new one. No fancy talk, just the facts about their hardware. We're usually here late if there's a difficult job to finish, often working under a desk lamp long after the other shops in the street have closed their shutters.
