We are set up in Khurja, which is part of the Bulandshahr district. Our workplace is actually at the home of Shakuntla Devi in Chandra Lok Colony. It is a simple setup because we do not need much to get through the day. Working out of a colony like this means it is mostly quiet, except for the occasional street vendor or neighbor walking by. Paperbyte Technologies Private Limited is basically just a few of us sitting with our laptops and trying to figure things out. We do not have a fancy glass office or a big boardroom. Most of our meetings happen around a small table with a few cups of tea. It is a bit cramped sometimes but it gets the job done. The walls are plain and there is not much decoration. We focus on the work instead of trying to look important. Living and working in a place like Khurja means things move at a different pace compared to a big city like Delhi. We like it that way because we can actually concentrate. Sometimes the local dogs make a lot of noise outside, but you get used to it after a while. We have been here for a bit now and it feels like home. It is just a regular small business trying to do right by the people we work with every day without any big fuss.
