You can find us at house number 358 in Mohalla Kila, right in the Ghassmandi area of Jahangirabad. It’s a busy part of town, and we’ve been here in Anoop Shahr for a good bit now. Jhangirabad Organic Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a group of local people trying to promote organic farming in our own area. The streets around Ghassmandi are usually full of people and carts, so there’s always a lot of noise and activity right outside our office door. We aren't some big corporation from a city like Delhi or Noida. We are just local residents who care about what’s happening in the fields around Bulandshahr and want to see things improve. Our office is a modest space where we keep our files and meet with the farmers to discuss the next steps. We spend a lot of time talking about soil quality and how to get away from the usual chemicals that everyone uses. It’s not always easy to convince people to change their ways after so many years, but we keep trying. The work is mostly practical stuff like figuring out transport, checking the organic certifications, and making sure the members are getting what they need. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team to tell our story. It’s just us, sitting in Mohalla Kila, trying to make the farming business a bit better for everyone involved.
