Adm Masale

Our small setup is located in Village Bhoor, which is out in the Bulandshahar district. We are right in the Deesa Colony area, not too far from the Bhoor Chauraha. If you know that intersection, you know it gets pretty busy with people and carts going back and forth. We’ve been doing this for a while now, focusing on our masale. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have any fancy signs or big glass windows. The building is just a simple place where we bring in the raw spices and get them ready for use. Living and working in the village means we know almost everyone who walks past our door. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to chat for a minute while we are busy bagging the turmeric or coriander. The dust from the road sometimes blows in, so we have to stay on top of keeping everything covered. We don't follow any corporate handbooks here. We just work based on what needs to be done that day. If the harvest is good, we are much busier. If the rain is heavy, things slow down a bit. It’s a very honest way to make a living. We use basic tools and a lot of hand-sorting to make sure things look right. It’s just us, working hard near the chauraha, trying to do a good job with the spices we have. It’s nothing more and nothing less than that.
