Sana Craft

Our place is right by Khurja Chowk, on the G T Road. Sana Craft has been sitting here near the JP Cement area for some time now. Being in Khurja, you’re always around pottery and clay, though we do our own thing here. The road outside is always roaring with trucks and buses going toward the city. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but not by much. We’ve got shelves filled with things we’ve worked on, and honestly, it’s a bit of a mess sometimes. There’s always someone coming in to ask for directions because of the landmark, but we don’t mind. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or scraps. We work with our hands mostly. It’s not like those big factories you see on TV. We have a small crew and we all know each other’s families by now. Sometimes the rain leaks in near the back door, and we have to move everything in a hurry. It makes life interesting. Khurja is a busy town, and we’re just another shop trying to keep up with the pace. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything. We just make the crafts, pack them up, and hope they get where they’re going without breaking. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until the sun sets over the chowk.
