Keshav Bricks Field

Keshav Bricks Field is located in Saidpur village, right near where the railway crossing is. Being in the Siyana taluka area, we get a lot of local traffic. I started this field because I wanted to work for myself and I knew the area needed building materials. Making bricks is tough work. You're always at the mercy of the weather. If it rains too much, we have to stop everything, and the mud makes it hard to move the carts. We have a small group of workers who live nearby. We all start early in the morning when the air is still cool. The sound of the trains passing by is something we've all grown used to. Most of our customers are folks from Saidpur or the neighboring villages. They come by with their tractors to pick up what they need for a new room or a wall. I spend most of my day at the site, usually covered in some amount of dirt. We don't use any high-tech stuff, just the same old ways that have worked for years. It's a basic setup with the chimney and the drying rows. If you come by the railway crossing, you'll see us. We’re just here doing the work and trying to keep the supply moving for the local builds. It is a noisy place, but it's where we spend our time.
