Kalubharnadi Farmer Producer Company Limited is based over in Umrala, right by the Dhola Sub Station and the Dhola Gham. We share a bit of space with the Umrala Kharid Vechan Sangh. It is a very busy area, especially when it is time for the farmers to bring in their goods. You can hear the tractors and the trucks moving around all day long. We named the company after the Kalubhar river because it is such a big part of life for everyone who lives and works around here. Being a producer company means we are just a bunch of farmers who decided to work together instead of everyone doing their own thing separately. It makes the paperwork a bit easier and helps us when we need to buy things for the farms. Our office is right in the middle of all the action, so there is always someone coming in to say hello or ask a question about the market prices. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. We just have our names on the door and a lot of work to do. The sun gets pretty hot in Umrala during the summer, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy with the records. It is honest work and it keeps the community moving forward together in its own way. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just trying to make the daily life of a farmer a little more manageable for our members.
