Cafe Hotbites

If you’re driving between Bhavnagar and Somnath, you’ll likely pass right by us here in Mahuva. We are situated on National Highway 51, which stays pretty busy with trucks and travelers heading toward the coast. Being near Balaji Ginjing means there's always something happening around the shop. It’s a dusty stretch of road sometimes, but that’s just highway life. We set up Cafe Hotbites to give people a place to pull over and stretch their legs. The building isn't anything to look at from the outside, but we keep it tidy enough. Most of the people who stop in are just passing through, maybe looking for a quick tea or something to eat before getting back behind the wheel. We get to hear a lot of stories from drivers who’ve been on the road for hours. Mahuva is a small place, so we know most of the locals who drop by too. It’s funny how you recognize the sound of certain engines after a while. The kitchen is small, so when it’s packed, things can get a bit slow, but nobody seems to mind much. We just do what we can with what we have. It’s not a quiet spot because of the highway noise, but it’s got its own kind of energy. We’ve been here at this spot for a bit, watching the traffic go by every single day. It's just a regular part of the Mahuva landscape.
