Sri Ram Refreshment

Sri Ram Refreshment is our little place in Saraidhela, Dhanbad. We are located right near the Canara Bank, which brings in a lot of people who are waiting for their work to get done or just passing through the area. It’s not a big restaurant with a menu that has fifty items. We keep it simple with snacks and some tea or cold drinks. Most of the time, people just stand outside and eat because we don't have much room for tables and chairs inside. The kitchen area is small and it gets quite hot, especially in the afternoons when the sun is hitting the front of the shop. I started this place because I saw there weren't many spots to get a quick bite around here. We prepare everything fresh, so sometimes you have to wait a few minutes while we fry something up. It’s not a fancy cafe where people come to sit with their laptops. It’s a place for the working man or the bank customers to grab something quick and go. There’s usually a bit of noise from the traffic on the road, but we’ve gotten used to it. The floor is just concrete and the walls have a few posters. It’s honest work and we like seeing the same customers coming back every day for their tea.
