Cent Food Products

Cent Food Products is right at Parek Chowk. You can't miss us because the Baruji Temple is right nearby. The sound of the bells and the people going for prayer is part of our daily life here. Our place is where we process and pack different food items. It is a local operation, and most of the staff lives just a few streets away. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we can keep things clean and dry. In the mornings, there is a lot of activity when the raw materials arrive. We have to move quickly to get everything sorted. The smell of the food products is always in the air, sometimes it is flour, sometimes it is something more pungent. We have a few machines that do the heavy lifting, but a lot of it is still done by hand. The floors are swept multiple times a day. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone wants to talk to us, they just come to the side door or find us near the loading area. It is a lot of work to keep up with the orders from the local shops. We try to get everything out by the evening so the tempo can leave before the chowk gets too crowded with the evening market shoppers. It is a simple life but we stay busy. We have been here for years.
