Little Millennium Play School

Little Millennium Play School is right there in the Sumbridhi Garden Building in Phase-2. If you know Netaji Subhash Nagar in Saraidhela, then you know exactly where we are. Dhanbad gets pretty dusty and loud, so we try to keep the space inside nice for the kids. Most of us here have been working with children for a long time, so we just kind of get how they think. It isn’t always quiet, that’s for sure. You can hear the rhymes being sung from the street sometimes. We set up this place because parents in this part of Saraidhela needed a spot where their toddlers could just be kids before starting real school. The rooms are filled with toys and drawings. It’s not fancy, just practical. We spend a lot of time helping them learn how to share and play nice. Sometimes we deal with tantrums, and other times it is just non-stop laughter. The neighbors in Phase-2 are used to the morning rush of rickshaws and cars dropping kids off. We don't try to overcomplicate things. We just follow the routine, make sure everyone gets their snacks, and keep them busy until their parents come back at noon. It’s a lot of work keeping up with three-year-olds, but it keeps us on our toes. If you're walking past Netaji Subhash Nagar, you might see our colorful gate. That’s pretty much us. We are just a local school doing our part.
