Ananda Marga School Ananda Shila

Started the school here on Bijupara Khalari Road in Chama a while back. It is a quiet spot in Ranchi, mostly just trees and some local houses around us. Every morning, the kids start coming in from the nearby villages. Some walk quite a bit to get here. We spend the day going through the usual lessons. The building is simple, nothing fancy, but it does the job. Usually, things are pretty busy until the afternoon bell rings. We have some space for the children to run around during the breaks. It gets dusty in the summer months, but that is just how it is in this part of Jharkhand. Teachers stay back sometimes to finish up the registers or talk about the next day. It is not always easy managing everything, especially when the weather is bad or the power goes out, but we manage. People in Chama know where we are if they need to ask about admissions. We do not have a big office, just a small desk where parents come to sit and talk. Most of the staff live nearby, so everyone knows each other. It feels like a small community here. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids stay out of trouble during school hours. That is basically our day-to-day life here at the school on the road to Khalari. We have been here for years now and the routine stays much the same.
